Phase IIOnsite WorkshopA 3 day workshop will be held annually each spring to immerse scholars in the HITS program. The workshop will be rotated each year among the collaborating institutions to target diverse audiences, and to build and enhance networks at the community level. The workshop will have a common core curriculum, break out sessions presenting technology enhanced curricula projects with demonstrations and applications, field trips to technology rich environments, mentoring/consultation sessions and networking opportunities. Continuing Education Credit will be awarded by the NLN. The 2012 workshop will be held from The workshop is sponsored by There is no registration fee for the Scholar's Workshop. Each scholar will receive up to 3 hotel nights, refreshments and lunches for the workshop. Scholars or their institution are responsible for travel, transportation, additional hotel nights, meals (outside of the conference, refreshments/lunches), parking and other incidentals. Since we want to keep our HIT scholars up to date on new technology applications and initiatives, our workshop content changes every year.
